Diagnostics and Monitoring

Early detection and proactive monitoring are key to managing your pet’s health. I offer a range of diagnostic services from the comfort of your home — from blood testing and urinalysis to skin assessments and ongoing care for chronic conditions.

Whether your pet has a new health concern or a condition that needs regular check-ins, I’m here to help make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Disease Management

Many health conditions in pets can be managed effectively with regular monitoring. I use in-house blood collection and urinalysis to check for a variety of issues, including kidney disease, liver function, infections, and more. These are examined by an external lab. These tools help me catch potential problems early — often before symptoms become visible — and ensure any ongoing conditions are staying stable.

If your pet has already been diagnosed with a chronic illness, I can provide regular check-ups to monitor their progress and adjust treatment as needed. These visits also allow us to review their diet, environment, and behaviour for a more holistic approach to care.

Endocrine Disease Management

Does your pet suffer from a hormonal condition such as Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, or Cushing’s Disease?

I can help you manage these conditions at home with regular blood testing and personalised medication plans. This means fewer trips to the clinic and less stress for both you and your pet.

For pets with stable, well-managed conditions, I’m able to provide repeat prescriptions for up to six months, so you don’t have to worry about running out of essential medication.

Dermatology – Skin Conditions, Allergies, and Infections

Skin issues are common and can cause a lot of discomfort for pets — from itching and redness to hair loss and infections. I can assess and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions including:

  • Environmental and food allergies

  • Bacterial and fungal skin infections

  • Ear infections and chronic otitis

  • Parasite-related skin problems

With a combination of diagnostics, topical treatments, dietary adjustments, and medication, I’ll create a plan that helps your pet feel more comfortable and improves their quality of life.
