Equine Services

I offer a range of equine veterinary services tailored to horses across the Pilbara, from routine preventative care to urgent support when it matters most.

Whether you need annual health checks, diagnostic testing, or same-day treatment for an emergency, I aim to provide calm, reliable care right where your horse is most comfortable — at home

Accredited Racecourse Veterinary Services

I’m an RWWA ORV-accredited veterinarian and can provide racecourse services as required.

If you need a vet for race meetings or related events, please contact me directly via email or phone to discuss pricing, availability, and service arrangements.

Emergency & Acute Care

Emergencies don’t always happen during business hours, which is why I offer limited emergency care — availability varies, so please call as soon as possible if urgent care is needed.

  • Ophthalmology Emergency – Eye injuries or sudden vision changes require prompt assessment. I can provide urgent evaluation and treatment to give your horse the best chance of recovery.

  • Lacerations – I can attend within hours for recent wounds, cuts, or punctures. Quick attention helps reduce infection risk and supports optimal healing.

  • Basic Colic Care – Colic can be life-threatening if not managed early. I offer first-response treatment, including pain relief, clinical assessment, and referral guidance if surgery is needed.

Preventative & Routine Care

Keeping your horse healthy starts with proactive, consistent care. I offer:

  • Vaccinations – Core and risk-based vaccinations based on your horse’s environment, travel, and exposure risk. This includes protection against diseases such as tetanus, strangles, and Hendra virus (where applicable).

  • Faecal and Blood Tests – Ideal for monitoring parasite loads, identifying nutritional imbalances, and screening for early signs of illness.

  • Simple Lameness Examinations – If your horse is lame or not moving as freely as usual, I can perform an initial exam to localise the issue and recommend next steps, whether that’s management, diagnostics, or referral.
